Applying for a PAN Card has become easier now, it can be applied offline as well as online. For applying for a New PAN Card, form 49A needs to be filed. How to Apply PAN Card Offline
The department has made the process of offline application very simple, it can be applied through the NSDL portal, the steps for apply PAN Card offline is here- (How to Apply PAN Card Offline)
Step 1- Download the Form 49A from here.
Step 2- Affixed 2 recent passport-size photographs and signed the form in the space provided on the form 49A.
Step 3- Fill the required details as mentioned in the form.
Step 4- Attach self-attested photocopies of the proof of identity, proof of date of birth, and proof of address.
Step 5- Pay the fee (If the form is sent to NSDL) in the form of a demand draft in favor of ‘NSDL-PAN’ payable at Mumbai. (Fee is mentioned in the last part of the post)
Step 6- Mentioned ‘APPLICATION FOR PAN-N-ACKNOWLEDGEMENT NUMBER’ superscripted on the envelope of the application form.
Step 7- You can send the form to the nearest office of PAN Center or you can send the form to the NSDL Address as given below.

On Successful processing of the application, PAN will be generated and sent to the address mentioned in the application.
Fee For PAN Card
The Fee charged by the department is Rs. 110 for a PAN card that needs to be dispatched to an Indian address and fee for a PAN Card that needs to be dispatched outside India is Rs. 1020/- (Including GST).
